When a call is open, eligible applicants apply to the funder or the organisation running the call.

Program Status: OPEN Deadline: Wednesday, December 9th, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST

Amount

Usually up to $150,000 USD

Design up to $100,000 for stormwater and similar practices, up to $150,000 for stream, wetland and living shoreline design; planning up to $75,000.

Generally, requests are up to $150,000 for design of Stream restoration practices, Wetland and marsh creation/restoration projects, and Living shorelines.

Where

Maryland, West Virginia Chesapeake watershed, parts of Pennsylvania: United States

All communities in Maryland, throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed in West Virginia, and the Pennsylvania portions of the Octoraro and Conowingo Creek Watersheds are eligible.

NGOs, Government bodies, Community groups and Research institutions

Municipal, County, and Regional Agencies Nonprofit Organizations Faith-based Organizations Community and Homeowners Associations (HOAs) Soil/Water Conservation Districts & Resource Conservation and Development Councils Forestry Boards Public and Independent Higher Educational Institutions
