Wetland Replacement Program

From Government of Alberta (Environment and Protected Areas)

Paid partnership, not a grant: the funder pays for work under a contract.

Alberta government programme, funded by wetland replacement fees, that contracts municipalities and non-profits to restore drained wetlands or build new ones in priority watersheds. Participants sign a memorandum of understanding, then a 5-year service contract.
